Job summary

Halfords, the UK’s leading motoring and cycling retailer, is recruiting a Centre Manager to lead our National Tyres and Autocare service team in the UK. You will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence across the centre, delivering a first‑class service and achieving strong sales performance.

The role is based in the UK with a base salary of £40,000, an uncapped annual bonus averaging £11,900, and on‑target earnings up to £51,900.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automotive or similar service teams.
• Proven ability to deliver high customer satisfaction.
• Coaching-based approach to team development.
• Experience meeting Health and Safety standards.
• Experience in managing high sales turnover and KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the automotive service team to ensure excellent customer journeys and satisfaction.
• Drive business performance and KPIs while maintaining a safe, compliant operation.
• Provide on‑the‑job development and coaching to staff to enable progression.
• Ensure standards across Health & Safety compliance and operational procedures.
