Job summary

Halfords is looking for a Centre Manager to lead our Autocentre team and deliver an outstanding customer journey across all service, maintenance and repair tasks.

You will drive performance, coach staff, ensure health and safety compliance, manage KPIs and sales targets, and promote growth through a positive, training-focused leadership style. Hybrid training access and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in automotive or a related service environment.
• Track record of delivering high customer satisfaction and managing KPIs.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and in-the-moment training.
• Strong Health & Safety compliance and policy adherence.
• Experience with high sales turnover and achieving targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literacy and willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Valid driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Autocentre team to achieve service targets and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Coach and develop staff through on-the-job training and feedback.
• Manage KPI performance and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

• On-target earnings up to £54,900
• Comprising a base salary of £43,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,900 per year.

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.

• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
