Job summary

Halfords, National Tyres and Autocare division, is seeking a Centre Manager to lead a busy automotive service centre. You will drive team performance, deliver outstanding customer experiences and manage operations to meet and exceed sales KPIs.

The role offers an opportunity to progress within a large automotive services network, with a base salary and an uncapped bonus scheme and additional benefits. Hybrid training and industry qualifications are available through the company.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills within automotive or similar industry.
• Track record of delivering high customer satisfaction and managing KPI targets.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and in-the-moment training.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety and compliance standards.
• Experience handling high sales turnover and achieving KPI goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management and IT literacy with in-house systems.

Here at National Tyres, we are looking for a Centre Manager, who will play a vital role in leading the team to success and providing an excellent customer journey and satisfaction.

• On-target earnings up to £52,000
• Comprising a base salary of £41,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,000 per year
• 5 days a week (the centre is closed on a Sunday)

Skills And Experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
