Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager to lead a high-performing team at one of its Autocentres. You will drive customer satisfaction, manage day-to-day operations, and coach staff to deliver excellent service and retail performance.

The role offers an uncapped monthly bonus scheme, with a base salary and career progression in a growing motoring services business.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team management within automotive or similar environments.
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and on-the-job training.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety compliance standards.
• Experience managing high sales turnover and KPIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills with in-house systems.

• On-target earnings up to £51,869
• Comprising a maximum base salary of £40,869
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,000 per year.
• 5 days a week (the centre is closed on a Sunday)

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
