Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Centre Manager for a Gloucester-based site within a fast-growing automotive group. You will lead the centre and workshop teams, driving sales and delivering high standards of customer service.

The role requires a strong background in automotive management and people leadership, with a valid UK driving licence. The package includes a base salary circa £40,000–£42,000 with uncapped OTE and a route to progression.

Job description

Our client who is one of the UKs fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Gloucester.

As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.

Location: Gloucester

Pay / salary: Basic: £40,000 to £42,000

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £10,000

Shift and schedule: 08:30 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Centre Manager Responsibilities:

To be a Center Manager you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence Essential
• Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
• Strong commercial and sales background
• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
• Team-management experience
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Strong customer-service and account-management skills
