Octane Recruitment client, a fast-growing UK automotive retailer, is seeking a Centre Manager for their Bath centre. You will lead the centre and workshop teams, drive sales and ensure high standards of customer service. A proven track record in people management within automotive is required.

Salary £38,000-£40,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped OTE (£10,000). Working hours 08:30-17:30 Mon-Fri with Saturday rota. Benefits include 32 days holiday, pension, life insurance and more.

Qualifications

• Experience managing people in a supervisory role.
• Strong background within the Automotive industry.
• Experience in fast-fit or tyre/service environments is preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance
• Run the day-to-day operation of the centre
• Maximise customer conversion and ensure strong customer service
• Manage stock control, deliveries, branch assets and takings
• Ensure workshop equipment and machinery are properly maintained
• Maintain Health & Safety and operational standards
• Coach and train team members where required

Job description

Our client who is one of the UKs fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Bath.

As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.

Location: Bath

Pay / salary: £38,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience

OTE: Uncapped (realistic £10,000)

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Centre Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance

To be a Center Manager you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence Essential
• Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
• Strong commercial and sales background
• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
• Team-management experience
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Strong customer-service and account-management skills
