Job summary

Webrecruit is recruiting for an automotive retail role in Sandown. The successful candidate will be able to manage their own workload, communicate effectively, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail automotive environment.

The role includes achieving sales targets and KPI’s, maintaining centre cleanliness, and supporting centre operations. Hours are discussed at interview; salary is dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
• To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
• Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
• All MOT Testers must hold a valid MOT Tester licence which is issued by the DVSA
• To carry out MOT test to DVSA standard and input the details on the DVSA computer system
• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
• To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
