Job summary

Webrecruit seeks a customer-focused individual with automotive retail experience to join our service centre in Basingstoke. The role involves delivering excellent customer care, supporting sales targets and maintaining a clean, well-organised environment for customers and vehicles.

You will manage tasks independently, lead training where needed, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies while contributing to the growth of our automotive services and centre operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to tasks.
• Experience working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.
• Ability to manage own workload and deliver high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
• To ensure all sales targets and KPI’s are achieved
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
• Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
• Carry out service and repair on all makes of vehicle
• All MOT Testers must hold a valid MOT Tester licence which is issued by the DVSA
• To carry out MOT test to DVSA standard and input the details on the DVSA computer system
• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
• Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
• To adhere to the Company’s Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
