Qualifications

• Proven track record of new business sales into central government.
• Existing network within a target department built through direct experience.
• History closing significant data/analytics or related technology deals.
• Hunter mentality with ability to open new relationships from scratch.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing a complex sales pipeline.
• Knowledge of procurement frameworks (G-Cloud, Crown Commercial Service).
• Experience using CRM and pipeline tools to keep records current.

Responsibilities

• Identify and own relationships with key decision-makers in target department.
• Generate new business opportunities from standing start with no base.
• Build and manage an enterprise-scale opportunity pipeline.
• Collaborate with technical and pre-sales to shape proposals and solutions.
• Lead co-sell activity with Microsoft and alliance partners.
• Represent Simpson Associates at industry, partner and government events.
• Provide market intelligence back to the business for hiring decisions.
• Deliver against annual new business revenue targets.
