Job description

  • East Suffolk Services Limited - Lowestoft Depot, Suffolk, NR32 2EF
  • £30,559 - £33,366 per annum (Pro rata for part time roles)
  • Up to 37 Hours - Full and Part time hours available
  • Permanent

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Central Control team as a Team Leader.

Your role:

As Central Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Central Controllers to ensure the effective, 24/7 monitoring of CCTV systems and responsive out-of-hours call handling. You will maintain high standards of customer service, compliance, and operational performance in line with company policies and service-level agreements.

You will work closely with the Community Services Operation Manager, providing day-to-day support, mentoring, and supervision to ensure the service runs efficiently and professionally.

What you will need:

We're looking for a proactive and capable individual with strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills with experience of working in a CCTV control room, emergency call handling, or a similar customer-facing environment.

The successful candidate will have the ability to make calm and effective decisions under pressure along with a flexible approach to working within a 24/7 service. This role will include evenings and weekends.

CCTV SIA licence along with a full driving licence is essential for this role.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS and a Police vetting check.
