Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst in the CEEMEA ECM team in London.

You will support origination and execution of ECM transactions for a diverse client base, gaining exposure to IPOs, rights issues, and other equity-linked instruments. You will work alongside professional bankers across corporate finance and capital markets, collaborating with sales, research, and trading teams to drive client outcomes and market insight.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in Equity Capital Markets.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Ability to multi-task, organized and rigorous.
• Interest in capital markets and corporate finance.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.
• Ability to interact with sales, research analysts, corporate clients and other banks.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Proficient quantitative and analytical skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take part in the origination and execution of ECM transactions led by J.P. Morgan.
• Draft equity market updates to corporate clients using internal/external databases.
• Liaise with equity syndicate, research, sales and trading to gather market intelligence.
• Conduct investor targeting exercises and collect feedback using various sources and internal teams.
• Collaborate with corporate clients and transaction lawyers.
