Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst in the CEEMEA ECM team in London.

You will support origination and execution of ECM transactions for a diverse client base, gaining exposure to IPOs, rights issues, and other equity-linked instruments. You will work alongside professional bankers across corporate finance and capital markets, collaborating with sales, research, and trading teams to drive client outcomes and market insight.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in Equity Capital Markets.
• Excellent academic credentials.

OurEquity Capital Markets (ECM)team is responsible for the oversight oforigination andexecution of a variety of transactiontypes (includingIPOs, rights issues, ABBs/blocks, equity-linkedinstrumentsandequity private placements).

As an Investment BankingAnalyst withintheCEEMEA ECMteam, you will assist in preparingorigination / marketing materials topitch new ideasand execute transactions forclients.You will be involved in the ECM coverage effort for a variety of corporate clients across industries. You will work closely together with other corporate finance / capital markets teams within the bank (investment banking coverage & industry teams, mergers and acquisitions,debt capital markets, acquisition & leveraged financeandequity derivatives).

As part of the team, you’ll be required to:

• Take part in origination and execution of ECM transactions led by J.P. Morgan
• Draft equity market updates to corporate clients on a regular basis leveraging internal and external databases (Bloomberg, Dealogic)
• Liaise with equity syndicate / research / sales / trading teams in order to gather market intelligence on an ad hoc basis
• Conduct investor targeting exercises and collect investor feedback using a variety of sources and internal teams (sales / syndicate / research / corporate access)
• Work together with corporate clients and transaction lawyers
