Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Analyst or Associate in Global Equities ECM Syndicate in London. You will execute high-profile ECM transactions, bridging issuer clients with institutional investors, and contribute to IPOs, ABBs, rights issues, and convertible bonds.

You will work with ECM, Sales, Trading, Legal and Compliance to support deal execution, investor education, and buyback programs while developing market insight in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic qualifications.
• Relevant experience in Banking or Markets.
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work under pressure whilst managing multiple deals.
• Effective communication skills and strong time management.
• Highly motivated, quick learner, and team player.
• Ability to work independently and display strong initiative; good understanding of risk, controls, and compliance.
• Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, Dealogic, and Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

• Support Syndicate Deal Captains to execute EMEA ECM deals (IPOs, ABBs, Rights Issues, Convertible Bonds).
• Set up and manage books of demand for ECM transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties during deal execution.
• Support investor education and management roadshows.
• Target investors and analyze performance for ECM deals.
• Produce market wraps and deal summaries daily/weekly.
• Maintain ABB/Blocks lists and track investor feedback.
• Run ad-hoc, daily, and weekly reports for the team.
• Liaise with company reps and internal teams to structure buyback programs.
• Collaborate with Equity Trading and Compliance to execute buybacks.
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
