AECOM invites applications for a CDM Principal Designer to join our Environment & Energy SH&E Team. This role can be based at multiple UK offices, including Manchester, Basingstoke, Glasgow, Cambridge and Bristol, working in a national capacity.

You will champion health, safety and environmental performance, lead proactive engagement across projects, and provide Principal Designer services on major energy infrastructure schemes while ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and company SH&E

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering the Principal Designer role on energy projects.
• Experience with overhead lines and HV projects.
• NEBOSH certificate and APS membership preferred.

Aufgaben

• Be a Safety Champion: advocate for health, safety and environment, promoting a mature safety culture.
• Be Proactive: lead pre-construction phase, champion risk mitigation, and ensure design-to-construction transition.
• Deliver Excellence: drive continuous improvement in methods, processes and results.
• Provide CDM Support, Advice & Guidance: counsel on statutory duties for energy projects.
• One Team: collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
• Management Systems Implementation: enforce procedures and process requirements.
• SH&E Promotion: support Safety for Life, Culture of Caring and Life Preserving Principles.
