AECOM invites applications for a CDM Principal Designer to join our Environment & Energy SH&E Team. This national role can be based in Manchester, Basingstoke, Glasgow, Cambridge or Bristol, delivering Principal Designer services on major UK energy projects.

You will champion health, safety and wellbeing, lead pre-construction activities, and support clients with CDM duties while promoting best practices and a strong safety culture across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in design/engineering required.
• Experience delivering Principal Designer role under CDM on energy projects.
• Experience with overhead lines and HV projects is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Act as Safety Champion for health, safety and environment across projects.
• Lead pre-construction phase, mitigate risk and ensure design-to-construction transition.
• Provide CDM counsel to energy projects and clients to ensure statutory duties are met.
• Collaborate with teams to promote safety culture and adhere to SH&E strategies.
