AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a CDM Principal Designer to join our Environment & Energy SH&E Team. As we are a national firm, this position can be based at any main office locations, including Manchester, Basingstoke, Glasgow, Cambridge and Bristol.

The role involves collaborating with our teams and clients to provide Principal Designer services on energy infrastructure projects in the UK. You will champion health and safety, support CDM compliance, and help promote our SH&E strategy

Qualificações

• Experience delivering the Principal Designer role under CDM on energy projects.
• Member of the Association of Project Safety.
• NEBOSH National or General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Experience in overhead lines and HV projects.

Responsabilidades

• Be a Safety Champion: advocate health, safety and the environment to cultivate a mature safety culture.
• Be Proactive: lead pre-construction design phase, mitigate risk and manage design-to-construction transition.
• Deliver Excellence: ensure value in all tasks and drive method and process improvements.
• Provide CDM Support, Advice & Guidance: counsel on statutory duties for energy projects.
• One Team: collaborate across colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Management Systems Implementation: ensure adherence to procedures across scope.
• SH&E Promotion: promote Safety for Life and caring culture.
