AECOM is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to join our Environment & Energy SH&E Team. This national role can be based at Manchester, Basingstoke, Glasgow, Cambridge, or Bristol and involves leading Principal Designer duties on large energy infrastructure projects across the UK.

You will champion safety, provide CDM guidance, and collaborate across teams to reinforce a proactive safety culture. AECOM supports hybrid working and professional development.

Formación

• Experience in Overhead lines and HV projects.
• Member of the Association of Project Safety.
• NEBOSH National or General Certificate, or similar health and safety qualification.
• Experience in delivering the Principal Designer role, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of duties under CDM on energy projects.

Responsabilidades

• Be Safety Champion: advocate health, safety and environment and foster a mature safety culture.
• Be Proactive: lead pre-construction phase, mitigate risks, enable design-to-construction transition and health & safety files.
• Deliver Excellence: strive for continuous improvement in methods, processes and results.
• Provide CDM support, advice & guidance to energy projects and clients to ensure statutory duties are met.
• One Team: collaborate to achieve shared goals.
• Management Systems Implementation: ensure adherence to procedures to bolster safety culture.
• SH&E Promotion: promote Safety for Life and Life Preserving Principles.
