AECOM is seeking a CDM Principal Designer to join our Environment & Energy SH&E Team. The role can be based at major UK offices and requires leadership in CDM across energy infrastructure projects. You will promote safety culture, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with CDM duties.

You’ll work with our teams and clients to deliver Principal Designer services on large UK energy projects, supporting pre-construction risk mitigation and health and safety strategies.

Qualifications

• Design or engineering degree required.
• Experience in Overhead lines and HV projects.
• Member of the Association of Project Safety (APS).
• NEBOSH National or General Certificate, or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Experience delivering the Principal Designer role under CDM on energy projects.

Responsabilités

• Be a Safety Champion promoting health, safety and environment.
• Lead pre-construction phase and risk mitigation for energy projects.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver Principal Designer duties.
• Produce health and safety files and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
• Work as part of the SH&E team in a national role.
