Job summary

Equans is seeking a CCTV Control Room Operator to join our National Operations Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ST4 1AY.

This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role, working 42 hours per week, with a salary of £29,455.58 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.The role covers CCTV verification, alarm management, and escalation within the control room, plus duties via the Facilities Management Helpdesk and incident reporting line.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English C or above.
• Proficient IT skills with MS Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel & Word).
• Experience in CCTV operations or security/service desk.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• SIA PSS licence or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Manage site alarm activations and CCTV verification.
• Escalate appropriately via Facilities Management Helpdesk and incident reporting hotline.
• Support National Operations Centre operations and incident handling.
