Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a CCTV Controller to join our security team. The role follows a 4 on 4 off pattern, working in teams of two to proactively operate CCTV and other security systems, ensuring site safety.

You will report to the Security Manager and maintain clear logs and communications. The ideal candidate will hold an SIA CCTV licence, ACT Awareness, and SCaN accreditation, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA CCTV licence.
• ACT Awareness certification is required.
• SCaN for CCTV Operators accreditation preferred.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clear, accurate communication of information.
• Follow escalation processes and log incidents.
• Deploy security resources to incidents efficiently.
• Proactively operate CCTV and security systems daily.
• Operate fire alarm, PA, VMS, alarms, radio, and phones.
• Document complaints and incidents professionally.
