Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Manchester is seeking an organised and experienced Control Room Operator to join our security team. You will monitor CCTV, intruder and fire alarm panels, and support incident response with accurate reporting.

You will work 42 hours per week on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern (day and night). A valid CCTV License is required, and a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CCTV License and have a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references.
• Experience in control room or security preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible with shifts and able to work 4 on 4 off.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm panels.
• Create incident reports and request engineers.
• Communicate via radio with emergency services and the public.
• Support Shift Supervisor as required.
• Ensure compliance and accurate recording of incidents.
