Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an organised Operations Control Room Officer to join our team in NN17 5AN. The role involves monitoring security operations, coordinating responses to incidents, and ensuring clear communication between field teams and clients on a 4 on, 4 off pattern.

You will work 12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:00, including paid breaks, with overtime commonly available on request. A valid SIA Licence is essential, and flexibility to work day and night shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a control room or operations environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and security software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
• Maintain clear communication with mobile response teams, site officers, and clients.
• Log incidents, activities, and shift updates accurately in the control room systems.
• Ensure compliance with operational protocols and procedures.
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding site activities and incidents.
• Act as the central point of contact for all security operations during your shift.
