Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking experienced security controllers to join a brand new on-site control room. You will oversee security across three distribution warehouses and play a vital role in site safety on a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on, 4 off), averaging 42 hours per week with overtime available.

Applicants should hold SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licences and CCTV licence, be reliable and professional in client interactions, and be comfortable in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• SIA guarding or door supervision licence and CCTV licence required.
• Minimum 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Experience in security or customer-facing role preferred.
• Ability to interact positively with clients and customers.
• Able to work in a control room environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff work in a professional and safe manner.
• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder, and investigate disturbances.
• Record accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report suspicious incidents in detail.
• Conduct CCTV reviews for incidents as required.
• Be the emergency point of contact for security onsite.
• Full uniform provided.

Job description

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team working with our prestigious clients. We are seeking experienced controllers to work in a brand new control room on site, covering 3 distribution warehouses. In the control room you be the oversight for the security team and play a vital role in the safety for the site as a whole. Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off day and night 12 hour shifts. 42 hours per week average. OT available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all staff work in a professional and safe manner.
• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder, and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
• Conduct CCTV reviews for incidents as required.
• Be the emergency point of contact for security onsite.
• Full uniform will be provided.

Requirements

• Required to work within a control room environment.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence & CCTV licence (Essential)
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
