Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team working with our prestigious clients in a brand new control room on site, covering 3 distribution warehouses. You will oversee the security team and contribute to site safety.

Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off day and night 12-hour shifts. 42 hours per week on average with OT available. Full uniform will be provided.

Qualifications

• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence and CCTV licence required.
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Experience in security or customer-facing roles beneficial
• Ability to interact positively with clients and customers
• Willingness to provide original documents for screening and vetting

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff work in a professional and safe manner
• Protect company property by maintaining a safe environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in defence of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report detailed information on suspicious incidents
• Conduct CCTV reviews for incidents as required
• Be the emergency point of contact for security onsite
• Full uniform provided
• Work within a control room environment

The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team working with our prestigious clients.

We are seeking experienced controllers to work in a brand new control room on site, covering 3 distribution warehouses. In the control room you be the oversight for the security team and play a vital role in the safety for the site as a whole.

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off day and night 12 hour shifts. 42 hours per week average. OT available.

Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

• Ensure all staff work in a professional and safe manner.
• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder, and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defence of life or property.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
• Conduct CCTV reviews for incidents as required
• Be the emergency point of contact for security onsite
• Full uniform will be provided.
• Required to work within a control room environment.

The ideal candidate

• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence & CCTV license (Essential)
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
