Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical infrastructure tasks.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults.
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data.
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion.

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning, with some experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
