Job Description:

CCTV and SISS Maintenance Engineer - Leicester, UK (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
