Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, Public Address / Voice Activation systems (PAVA), Public Help Points (PHP), and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Ensure SISS assets are well maintained and station communication faults are reported and fixed.
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.

Who You Are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning, joining an experienced team. The Level 4 Technician role is ideal if you have experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willing to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
