Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work night shifts at Pirin Court Service Centre
