SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team engaged in complex, critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This is a permanent night shift role, working Sunday to Thursday, from 10 pm to 6 am at our Pirin Court Depot, near Canning Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The candidate should have experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
