Job summary

Bupa Harrogate centre is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for a permanent, face-to-face role. You will deliver high-quality CBT, carry out comprehensive assessments, and develop tailored care pathways for clients with diverse presentations.

The role supports multi-modal delivery (face-to-face, phone, video) and requires BABCP accreditation plus a post-graduate CBT diploma. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team with strong clinical supervision and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Full Accreditation with BABCP.
• Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) BABCP accredited.
• At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions with varied presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with strong clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations guiding care pathways.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone or video sessions based on client preference.
• Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and team guidelines.
• Work within sessional limits set by private medical insurance and recovery goals.
• Provide signposting or onward referral when required.
• Develop group psychoeducation and wellbeing initiatives as needed.
