Role Overview

We are hiring for a Catering Manager at Days lane Sidcup who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and does not involve weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

Compensation & Hours
  • £14.00 per hour
  • 35 hours per week (Monday‑Friday)
  • Term‑time only (39 weeks per year)
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
  • Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislations and procedures.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Run the day‑to‑day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client in your school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
  • Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets, ensuring they are achieved.
  • Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone excels in their role by completing all training and managing performance.
