Southampton City Council is seeking a Visitor Experience Supervisor (Catering) to oversee catering and hospitality delivery across our venues within the Museums, Art Gallery and Heritage Service. You will support visitors, volunteers and colleagues to ensure enjoyable experiences while upholding high food service and safety standards.

The role requires organising day-to-day catering operations, supervising Visitor Experience Assistants, managing rotas, stock, cash handling and café presentation.

Qualifications

• Catering experience and ability to supervise catering operations.
• Strong customer service skills and a calm, practical approach under pressure.
• Ability to organise rotas, supervise staff, manage stock and ensure food safety.

Responsabilités

• Supervise practical delivery of catering and hospitality activity in venues.
• Support rotas, stock control, tills and cashing up, and cafe presentation.
• Ensure health and safety, food hygiene and licensing compliance while meeting income targets.
