Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. The role includes supervising kitchens and service counters, delivering exceptional food and service, and aligning with KPIs across multiple venues.

38 weeks per year, with shift patterns 5 days out of 7 and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated with a willingness to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to high standards and supervise catering teams.
• Oversee kitchens and service counters to ensure quality and service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Coordinate between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
