Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full-time basis.

You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences, with a shift pattern across Mon to Sat (days), contracted to 44 weeks per year. The role offers progression within a company that invests in its people and recognises effort.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a catering environment.
• Holder of a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance.
