Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Technical Instructor to support catering services for The Lodges ward at Wathwood Hospital. The role involves menu planning, dietary awareness and helping patients develop catering and independent living skills.

You will assist the occupational therapy team by delivering activity programmes, promoting rehabilitation, and ensuring a safe, compliant workplace under HACCP and food safety guidance.

Qualifications

• Catering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Awareness of food safety in the workplace.
• Ability to maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
• Ability to support occupational therapy activities with patients.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safe and secure treatment environments and follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Assist in developing and delivering group and individual activity within OT programmes.
• Prepare equipment, ingredients and materials for sessions and manage stock.
• Provide oral and written reports about patients as required.
• Escort patients as required and participate in service development activities.
