Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Catering Stores Assistant at Rampton Hospital to ensure stocks of food and provisions are maintained, enabling high quality meals for patients, staff and visitors.

Hours are 10am–6pm, with weekends and bank holidays. Training will be provided; previous healthcare catering experience is desirable but not essential. DBS checks are required at appointment and subject to deductions from salary.

Qualifications

• Experience or working within a catering, cleaning or portering environment.
• Experience in healthcare catering setting desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels and order food/provisions.
• Ensure all stock received meets health and safety standards.
• Liaise with suppliers as needed.
