Job summary

Caterlink in Gloucester is seeking an enthusiastic Catering Manager to lead on-site operations, delivering nutritionally balanced meals and outstanding service to pupils and staff. This full-time role offers no weekend work and a chance to drive continuous improvement in food quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

You will manage daily operations, supervise teams, control budgets, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding Caterlink’s Fresh Food Policy across site teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to professional standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance procedures
• Knowledge of Food Safety regulations and environmental legislation
• Proficiency in inventory management and budget monitoring
• Proven supervisory and team leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to Caterlink standards and requirements, ensuring consistency and safety.
• Oversee day-to-day location operations, supervise teams, manage inventories, monitor budgets, and implement efficiency plans.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining regular communication on adjustments and service improvements.
• Analyse operational data and drive continuous improvements to service delivery and team performance
