Job summary

Caterlink is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Catering Manager to join our team in Gloucester. This is a full-time role focused on delivering nutritionally balanced, high-quality food and exceptional service to our clients and their customers, with no weekend work.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, manage inventories and budgets, and maintain Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation to professional standards.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance procedures.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or 3) required.
• Experience in institutional or contract catering environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to Caterlink's standards, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Manage day-to-day operations, supervise teams, manage inventories, monitor budgets.
• Serve as primary client contact and communicate KPI progress to line manager.
• Train and develop team members, ensure induction and ongoing training.
• Analyse operational data and implement improvements to service delivery and team performance.
