Job summary

National Star is seeking a motivated Catering Assistant (Bank) to join our team at Ullenwood, delivering a full catering service to students. The role involves food preparation, serving meals, maintaining clean work areas and assisting the chef to ensure smooth operations.

Previous catering/kitchen experience is preferred, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable. Bank status supports 52-week coverage with a 0hrs/52weeks schedule.

About the role

National Star is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team providing a full catering service to our students.

Working as an important part of the team, you will perform various duties including some food preparation, serving food, keeping the equipment and work areas clean, assisting the chef with the smooth running of the area, cash handling.

Previous experience in a catering / kitchen assistant role (ideally in residential care or school environment) is required for this role and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
