Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the Glangwili Hospital Catering Department in Carmarthen. The role is 15 hours per week, evenings, with 5 x 3 hour shifts Mon-Fri, and may include additional hours for cover.

You will help prepare, deliver and maintain high standards of cleanliness and catering service within the department, working as part of a large team committed to patient and staff meal provision.

Job description

The Catering department is currently looking to recruit one Catering Assistant, who would like to join a large team of individuals within the department, in providing an effective and efficient cleaning and catering service. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team, in ensuring that the food is prepared, delivered and the department is cleaned to the highest standard.

Main duties of the job

The contract is as follows: 15 hours (Evenings) consisting of 5 x 3 hour cleaning shifts on a Monday to Friday basis at Glangwili Hospital Catering Department.

There is also an opportunity to work extra hours to cover annual leave and sickness if needed in hospital catering department.
