About Our Client

Senior Commercial Category Manager - DVSA

Apply before 11:55 pm on Monday 7th April 2025

Salary: £42,848. An additional RRA allowance may be applicable: £2,000 for diploma level CIPS, £4,000 for full MCIPS membership. The job grade is Senior Executive Officer. The contract is permanent, within the DVSA- Finance Commercial and Assurance business area. The role offers flexible working, full-time, job share, and part-time options. Multiple positions are available in Bristol, Nottingham, and Swansea.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with DVSA to develop commercial experience aligned with Government Commercial Functions, managing categories by spend and type throughout the entire commercial cycle (pre-procurement, market engagement, procurement, contract management, benefits realization).
• Lead a team to develop the Category Management approach and ensure delivery against strategies.
• Operate in a regulated public sector environment, adhering to Commercial Operating Standards.
• Manage sub-categories with a value of approximately £25m.
