Job description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Combisafe Product Sales Manager for the UK South region to join us at Combisafe. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with end users and distributors, coordinating between Customers, Sales, Operations, Engineers, and Finance. Your primary focus will be generating sales by providing solutions for various project types, offering technical and commercial advice, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. Success in this role is critical for the company to meet and exceed its sales revenue goals.

This position serves as a vital interface between customers and Honeywell, significantly influencing customer perception and their willingness to buy and rent our products. It is a remote role with approximately 70% travel within the south of the UK.

Honeywell Industrial Automation helps customers operate more safely and efficiently. Our solutions span refineries, distribution centers, retail stores, and more, aimed at delivering results while enhancing worker safety and sustainability, including reducing carbon emissions through connectivity, data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, and automation.

Note: Honeywell plans to sell its PPE business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners, with closing expected in the first half of 2025. This role, focused on the PPE business, will be part of this transaction upon closing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the main support point for Honeywell's key accounts and regular customers, including price negotiations, product applications, quoting, and tender preparation. Maintain daily contact to foster strong relationships.
  2. Upsell based on customer knowledge and technical competence; cross-sell personal protective equipment.
  3. Manage orders, rental coordination, inventory, product returns, purchasing, transportation, invoicing, and participate in site meetings.
  4. Support customers with User Instructions, Technical Information sheets, drawings, product advice, and sales literature (about 25% of calls).
Key Skills and Qualifications
  1. Education in commercial or international business preferred.
  2. Extensive experience in sales or customer service, ideally in the construction industry.
  3. ERP knowledge, specifically SAP B1.
  4. Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills and the ability to organize workload independently.
