Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking Bank Young People\'s Worker to support youth work sessions on a casual, ad hoc basis across Trafford, with main base at Talkshop in Sale. You will help run targeted groups, community youth work, or sessions in schools, building trusting relationships with young people aged 11-19 and guiding them through personal challenges.

Applicants should have NVQ level 3+ or equivalent youth work qualifications, basic safeguarding training, and at least 1 year of experience with

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar setting and/or youth work qualifications to NVQ Level 3 or above.
• Basic safeguarding training completed.
• At least 1 year of experience with young people in a youth/community setting.

Responsibilities

• Support youth work sessions across Trafford in a casual, ad hoc basis.
• Build trusting relationships with young people aged 11-19.
• Provide information, advice and guidance on mental health, relationships and wellbeing.
