Job summary

Manchester City is seeking a casual events role based in Manchester to support the delivery of a varied programme of non-matchday events across the Etihad Campus. You will help coordinate setup, ensure smooth operations and reflect the club’s high standards.

Day to day you’ll assist with event setup and close-down, brief teams, manage stock such as AV equipment and stationery, and deliver excellent customer service to guests and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, hospitality or venue operations in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail.
• Awareness of First Aid and Health and Safety regulations.
• Confident working independently with initiative.
• Basic IT literacy including Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event set-up and close-down to ensure smooth delivery.
• Walk customer journeys, brief teams and coordinate with internal colleagues to meet requirements.
• Provide on-day customer service, handle queries and respond professionally to feedback.
• Manage event stock control and ordering (AV equipment, stationery, football equipment).
