St Elizabeth's Charity Shop in Ware offers a flexible, casual Retail Manager role supporting a busy shop and volunteers. You will help run the shop smoothly, manage stock, drive sales and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and volunteers in a community-focused setting.

The role provides cover and support as needed, with an emphasis on flexible shifts and making a real difference for people with complex needs served by St Elizabeth's.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support daily shop operations including opening/closing, cash handling and stock management.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment for customers and volunteers.
• Help drive sales and achieve shop targets.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and stock rotation.
• Support recruitment, training and motivation of volunteers.
• Provide leadership when stepping up in the Shop Manager's absence.
• Ensure charity policies, retail standards and health and safety requirements are followed.
• Make the most of donated stock to turn donations into funds.
