Job summary

Searcys is seeking a Casual Pastry Chef to join Searcys Events at High Wycombe. The role covers all kitchen sections with support to Exec/Head Chef, delivering high standards for events.

You will work in luxury venues across the UK, ensuring presentation and hygiene standards while enjoying benefits including staff discounts, pension enrolment, and generous annual leave. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Very well organised and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in working in a 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is desirable.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other areas.
• Manage stock levels for the section, including ordering when required.
• Ensure presentation of food matches the standards set by senior chefs.
• Adhere to Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements.
• Carry out any other reasonable requests by Senior Management.

Searcys are looking for a Casual Pastry Chef to join Searcys Events at High Wycombe.

Working as a Pastry Chef for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. As a Chef de Partie you will work across all sections of the kitchen and support the Exec/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue.

Job Description

Job Type: Casual Contract

Salary : £19 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other different areas throughout the business.
• Responsible to manage stock levels of thesection you are overseeing including ordering when required.
• Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs.
• To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to
• Any other reasonable request by the Senior Management.
