Job summary

Searcys is seeking a Chef de Partie to join Stationers' Hall in London. You will support senior chefs, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-standard food for various dining areas, while upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with benefits including venue discounts, pension, and staff incentives. This is a zero-hour/variable position at a historic City of London venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or a private members club.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs.
• To assist in any extra functions.
• To provide to a consistently high standard for functions and different dining areas.
• To manage the Client Dining, staff restaurant, hospitality and conference food offers when requested by senior chefs.
• To assist in the training of junior staff.
• To ensure smooth running of daily operations.
• Hygiene and personal hygiene checks.
• Staff food standards.
• To comply with all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy.
• To comply with all legal requirements with reference to fire regulations, security, licensing and local authority stipulations.

Searcys are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team atStationers' Hall.

Working as a Chef De Partie for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories.You will not only support the Sous/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue but also act as a mentor to the junior kitchen brigade.

Stationers' Hall is a Grade I listed building, close to St Paul's Cathedral. It is one of the few ancient Livery Halls remaining in the City of London. Completed in 1673 after the Great Fire of London, the Hall's suite of magnificent, inter-linking rooms as well as the secluded garden, make it one of the most sought after venues in the City for corporate events and Private Functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs
