Job summary

Norse Group LTD is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for Holcombe Rogus/Burlescombe, Wellington/Tiverton. The role is for 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 1:30pm, term-time only.

You will support all aspects of catering, ensure food preparation, presentation and service while following food hygiene and safety procedures. Previous catering experience or willingness to be trained, friendly customer service, ability to meet deadlines and work in a team are required.

Catering Assistant required at Holcombe Rogus/Burlescombe

Wellington/Tiverton

£12.71 Per hour

17.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 1:30pm

South West Norse is established in delivering catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to a portfolio of clients in the local region in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise.

As we recognise the importance of building a strong kitchen team to be a key ingredient to our catering success, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant join our team on a part-time, permanent basis working Term-time only.

The Role:

You will be supporting all aspects of the catering service including ensuring completion of the preparation, cooking, presentation and service of our nutritious food and beverage outlets to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, Health and Safety and QA procedures.

This customer facing role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.

Our Successful Candidate:

• Previous catering experience or willing to be trained in your new role.
• Friendly and polite customer service
