Job summary

Arena Racing Company (ARC) at Doncaster Racecourse offers a casual Kitchen Porter role to support busy race days and hospitality events. You will keep kitchens and public areas clean, operate the plate and pot wash, and follow Health & Safety guidelines while assisting with stock rotation and basic food storage.

• Ensure workspaces and public areas remain clean and tidy throughout and after service
• Carry out cleaning duties following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines
• Operate and maintain plate wash and pot wash machines, including daily cleaning
• Assist with stock rotation and safely store food per Health & Safety regulations
• Use cleaning chemicals while following PPE and safety guidelines

Some responsibilities of a Casual Kitchen Porter….

• Ensuring workspaces and public areas remain clean and tidy throughout and after service.

• Assisting with stock rotation and safely storing food in line with Health & Safety regulations.

There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
