Job summary

Doncaster Racecourse is seeking a Casual Kitchen Porter to support our event-driven hospitality services at ARC, including the Hilton Garden Inn within the venue. You will assist in maintaining strict hygiene standards, support plate and pot washing, and help with stock control across busy racedays and functions.

The role offers flexible shifts to fit around commitments, with opportunities for training and development, and entry vouchers after six months of service.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring workspaces and public areas remain clean and tidy throughout and after service.
• Carrying out cleaning duties as needed, always following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Operating and maintaining the plate wash and pot wash machines, including daily cleaning.
• Assisting with stock rotation and safely storing food in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Using cleaning chemicals when required, while following PPE and safety guidelines.
